About Vet

I decided to become a veterinarian because when I was young I had a cat named Oreo whose eye got infected. The veterinarian did everything he could to treat the eye, but it didn’t get better so his eye had to be removed. I remember how thankful I was that the veterinarian could help Oreo and I wanted to be able to provide that feeling to people. I have been practicing for two years in different settings including emergency medicine, general practice and cardiology. I have worked in the veterinary field since I was 16. I have three pets of my own, a ten year old grey tabby cat named Stanley, an eight year old black Labrador named Olive and a two year old tuxedo cat named Henrietta. My two main interests in veterinary medicine are soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine. I am currently a doctor at a mobile veterinary practice.
