About Vet

Dr. Mills grew up in San Diego, California, where his love for animals first began. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis, and later worked in medical and veterinary device research. He went on to pursue his lifelong goal of becoming a veterinarian, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Mills is dedicated to helping pets live long, comfortable, and healthy lives through thoughtful, individualized care. Through telemedicine, he partners closely with pet owners to provide clear guidance, answer questions, and support pets through preventive care, chronic condition management, and follow-up visits. Outside of work, Dr. Mills enjoys ceramics and tackling projects around the house. At home, he loves spending time with his wife, Helena, their son, Robin, and their furry family members—Olive the pug, along with Tony and Buddy, their two cats.
