Dr. Hinson graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She completed a one-year equine medicine and surgery internship in Florida focused on performance horses before transitioning into mixed animal practice across the United States. Her experience includes treating small animals, exotics, avian species, reptiles, and wildlife.
She later transitioned into shelter medicine and high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter surgery, which remains a core focus of her work.
Dr. Hinson is the founder of World Tails, an international nonprofit providing veterinary care in underserved communities worldwide. Over the past eleven years, she has worked globally across the Middle East, Central America, Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, and Africa among other countries.
Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, preventive medicine, and client education. She is committed to practical, compassionate, evidence-based care.
