Dr. Alison Cowie

I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. I have been specializing in small animal emergency medicine for the past 5 years, and have done general practice, along with some large animal, and exotics. I truly enjoy educating owners about their pet's health and general well being. I have extensive experience with long term management and emergency management of diseases, and am able to provide triage information in emergency settings. I also have extensive knowledge about general health and wellbeing, and love talking about your pet's life! I am a 20 year veteran of the US Army, and can discuss food safety, infectious diseases, and anything relating to the human animal relationship. I am licensed in TN, PA, TX, MD, and I can provide information to clients in Vermont as the state itself allows residents to seek telemedicine outside of the state. I am also happy to discuss issues with international clients! I have traveled throughout Europe (East and West), throughout eastern Asia, and South America, and am familiar with diseases and animal care within those areas.
