Sonesta ES Suites is a small hotel with very large rooms. Located in one of Fresno’s busiest commercial areas, this hotel has everything you need to travel comfortably with your pet, both inside and outside the hotel. Pets are welcomed with bowls, treats, a pet bed, and waterproof mats. A few blocks away, you’ll find Whitie's Pets, a local pet shop where you can buy all kinds of pet supplies. Robinson Park is also a few minutes away so you can take your dog on a walk at a pretty park during your stay, though pet walking and potty areas are available at the hotel. A minimum pet fee of $75 is required for stays up to seven nights, while stays longer than a week require a $25 fee. Only two pets are allowed per room.
2. La Quinta by Wyndham Fresno Riverpark
La Quinta in Fresno Riverpark is located in a busy district filled with restaurants and bars. The hotel has spacious rooms that are more than enough for you and your cat or dog. The hotel is also near Fresno Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center, so help can be provided immediately if need be. There is a pet fee of $25 per night for a maximum of $75 per room, per stay. Service animals are allowed to stay free of charge. Only two pets are allowed per room.
3. Hyatt Place Fresno
Hyatt Place Fresno is surrounded by medical centers. Located next to Yosemite Freeway, this hotel is in a very convenient location. The dog-friendly Kaiser Permanente Park is a few minutes away, and behind the hotel on the other side of the freeway, you’ll find a PetSmart where you can shop for any supplies your pet may need. Only dogs are allowed in this hotel. If staying up to six nights, the pet fee is $75. Stays of more than six nights require a $75 fee plus a $100 deep-cleaning fee. If you’re staying with a single dog, they must weigh under 50 pounds, and if you’re staying with two dogs, they must weigh under 75 pounds combined.
4. Homewood Suites by Hilton Fresno
Homewood Suites by Hilton Fresno is the perfect hotel for travelers looking to stay for an extended period. It’s located next to a very peaceful neighborhood, but it’s still reasonably close to all the most popular restaurants, plazas, and businesses. Cats and dogs are both welcome at this hotel so long as they don’t weigh more than 50 pounds. When staying for one to four nights, a $50 pet fee is required per stay. Any longer than that requires a $75 pet fee.
5. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fresno
SpringHill Suites is located in Northern Fresno, near major shopping centers and businesses. Dog-friendly Kaiser Permanente Neighborhood Park is just a few blocks away, though there is plenty of space to walk your dog right outside the hotel. You can ask the front desk for some doggie waste bags if you need them. Only two pets are allowed per room and there is a non-refundable pet fee of $20 per night plus a $50 pet fee per day.
