Cat health symptoms

Mucus in the stool of cats is a natural lubricant within or surrounding feces that assists with the passage of waste through the digestive system. A small amount of mucus in stool is common in cats, while large amounts are not.

Muscle atrophy is the degeneration or loss of muscle mass. In cats, muscle atrophy is primarily recognized when there is generalized muscle loss and owners are able to easily feel the spine, hips, and rib bones

Muscle swelling can be defined as any abnormal increase in size of muscle tissue.

Muscle tremors are involuntary movement of the muscular tissue, often appearing similar to shivering or trembling. This symptom is not common in cats.
