About Vet

Hello! I am a small animal veterinarian in Illinois. I am passionate about pets and medicine. I used to run an animal rescue, so I have seen many interesting cases. I also have 2 dogs and 2 cats who are my everything. Ok, my husband is great too, but he knows how important my kiddos are.

I also have a degree in veterinary forensic medicine to specialize in abuse, neglect and other police related cases. I am always available to discuss potential cases with animal control or police.

I strive to help give you practical advice and care. Let’s talk!

PLEASE NOTE: Under Illinois law, veterinary telehealth providers are not able to prescribe medication. If your pet is in obvious need of some medication, please seek care with your local veterinarian.

Dr Susan easily diagnosed my newly adopted kittens with roundworm, told me exactly what treatment to get over the counter, and what foods work best to mix the treatment into. She also told me what the next steps would be after the treatment was over. I’m glad I didn’t have to bring my girls into a vet after I just adopted them and they’re settling in to my place. This was much a much easier solution for a simple diagnosis/treatment plan. Thanks, Dr Susan :)
