About Vet

Hello! My name is Dr. Bahan and I am based out of Alaska, where I live and work with my adventure mutt, Zephyr. I primarily work with dogs and cats in urgent care and emergency settings, though have extensive experience in general practice and with exotics and wildlife as well.

I am also licensed and sometimes practice in the following states: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. I’m always excited about the possibility of potentially getting to meet and treat my Vetster patients in person as well!

We have a little 5 month old red-footed tortoise and anyone who has ever dealt with them knows they can be very difficult to care for, especially when sick. Our sweet torty got sick and the soonest we could see our local reptile vet was 5 days away. Dr. Bahan gave us incredible tips to help keep her going until she was able to be seen in person. It was worth every penny for us!

Dr. Bahan was amazing. She was very informative and thorough. She gave us some home remedies and things to follow up with our vet. She put us at ease and helped me create a care plan for one of our huskies. Definitely would recommend her and make sure to see her again.
