About Vet

Dr. Luis graduated from the renowned veterinary school at UC Davis and is internship trained. She has a lot of experience practicing at various emergency hospitals in Florida, California and New Mexico. Dr. Luis currently practices emergency medicine for dogs and cats. She takes the time to explain the problems/diseases affecting her patients. She uses her experience working in the emergency setting (alongside veterinary specialists) to make multiple treatment recommendations for owners. She cares deeply about her patient's quality of life and works on enhancing the human-animal bond. She is able to see wellness appointments, help owners with end-of-life care, urgent care or if owners are confused about an emergent problem. Dr. Luis is also comfortable providing second opinions or providing a more in-depth explanation about diseases or diagnoses.

**CALIFORNIA CLIENTS: I cannot legally prescribe or diagnose a condition without an in-person exam. This is the law in California and not my own rule.
