I've been a Veterinarian for 32 years. I have experience practicing in the University but the majority of my career has been with small family oriented companion animal hospitals. I love all animals but my focus has been with Dogs and Cats.

I was a practice owner for 14years and we helped out with local no-kill shelters.

Currently I live with two cats (Mickey and Mini) and am care giver to my elderly mother. I have three adult children who live away from me.

Dr. Werthasier saved us HOURS at the emergency vets, and hundreds of dollars, over the holiday weekend. He was great, and helped us until we could get into our vet on Monday.

It wasn’t apparent Marc could not prescribe meds until right before the appointment on the Vetster site; but because I couldn’t get right in with a local vet, I stayed on the call and was able to gain peace of mind talking with Marc that I didn’t need to do a lengthy ER vet visit and could wait till I could get into the local vet.
