Dr. Courtney Belden

Hi, my name is Dr. Courtney Belden, CVA. I'm a small animal veterinarian in Richmond, VA. I've practiced for 15 years as a small animal vet, an equine vet, and I've focused on specialty care for the past 6 years.

As a certified veterinary acupuncturist, I provide acupuncture and laser therapy services at a local clinic. I love treating my patients with a holistic approach to medicine.

I have a soft spot for elderly patients and believe that "age is not a disease". My own dog, Chewy, was my "muse" for many years and lived to be 17. My current dog, Bentley, now fills that role and keeps me on my toes with his 5 year old self!

In addition to geriatric medicine, I also love to help post-operative patients, dogs with neck and back injuries, and patients with sports injuries, and more!
