About Vet

Hello! I’m Dr. Reid a passionate and experienced veterinarian with a background in both hands-on clinical practice and leadership in the veterinary community. I am currently the owner of Peninsula Veterinary Services, where I focus on providing compassionate, personalized care for small animals through both in-clinic and virtual services.

My career began in equine medicine, where I gained valuable field experience treating thoroughbred racehorses. . Over the years, my practice evolved to companion animal care, from wellness and preventive medicine to chronic disease management and telehealth consultations.

I’ve been an active voice in veterinary advocacy and public education. I formerly served as the Public Relations Director for the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association (INVMA) and was honored to serve as President of the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association (DEVMA). Through these roles, I’ve had the privilege of shaping outreach efforts, supporting fellow veterinarians, and representing our field with pride.

My passion for animal care extends beyond the clinic—I have appeared on local television, radio, and in print media to discuss important veterinary health issues, educate pet owners, and promote responsible pet ownership.

Whether I’m consulting virtually or leading a team at my practice, my mission remains the same: to empower pet owners with knowledge, compassion, and access to high-quality veterinary care. 🐶🐱🐴
