About Vet

PLEASE NOTE that without a formal veterinary client-patient relationship (VCPR), it is difficult or not legally possible to prescribe prescription medication based on a telemedicine consultation alone. If you are concerned that will need a prescription product for your pet, then an in-person visit with your primary care veterinarian will be more appropriate.

Appropriate Telemedicine Consultations:

  • Household and environmental home care recommendations (e.g., medication-free behavior and training guidance, weight loss guidance, supportive non-medication care for chronic conditions like asthma and bronchitis in conjunction with a previous diagnosis)
  • Second opinion on oral health concerns (e.g., oral hygiene): Oregon and Washington only, this service is not available within 60 miles of Algodones, NM due to a non-compete clause.
  • Non-pharmaceutical guidance and recommendations for pet care (e.g., kitten and puppy care, nutrition, pain management for osteoarthritis, and anxiety)

I appreciate Dr. Grellmann taking my appointment on a late Saturday evening with short notice. I was unsure if I was dealing with a potential emergency with my dog. She put my mind at ease and saved me several hours potentially waiting at the emergency vet. She not only addressed the symptoms my dog was experiencing in that moment but also addressed my pet holistically and discussed other strategies that could help.

Dr. Grellmann was exactly what I needed! She provided clear and detailed instructions to help me tackle our terrible flea infestation on multiple fronts now and year round. She was especially helpful in pinpointing the EXACT products needed (there is so much contradictory info on the internet). Would definitely use again.
