Bio: Dr. Stephanie Williamson grew up in central New York. She began her college education at SUNY Canton in 2003 working toward a degree in veterinary technology. She made a detour in her education to work at a local Humane Society for several years, and after realizing she could make a bigger impact in animal lives she graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2008. She received a BS in Biology from Utica College in 2011 and then attended Ross University for her DVM, graduating in 2015. Dr. Williamson practiced general medicine and surgery in CNY after graduation. In 2016 she moved to Florida to pursue emergency medicine. She also studied acupuncture and performed relief work for other veterinarians. She expanded her skills to work in shelter medicine, becoming a skilled HQHVSN surgeon. In June 2021 she married and moved back to CNY to practice general medicine. After 2 years of GP she moved to NM to practice emergency and general medicine. In her free time Dr. Williamson likes reading fiction, obstacle and road running, and spending time with her dogs. Dr. Williamson is also a wanderer at heart. Old dogs hold a special place in her heart.
