I’ve been a technician for 16 years, practicing mostly in primary care. I’ve been licensed in the state of Arizona since 2010. I recently completed a 2-year mentorship to obtain my specialty designation in veterinary dentistry (VTS). This is elective training to become a subject expert within my practice constraints as a technician. I love talking about and educating pet owners about dentistry. It’s my passion to help prevent and relieve chronic pain from dental disease.
I currently work in a university teaching hospital, helping to train the next generation of veterinarians as they learn technical skills as part of their doctorate.
I am also experienced with all things general practice including puppy/kitten care, preventive care, anesthesia, surgery, and providing nursing care for many common conditions such as allergies, dermatology, orthopedics, and other chronic conditions. I’m also very comfortable discussing the difficult topics such as quality of life and assessment of your pet’s comfort. I look forward to helping your pet live a long and healthy life.
