practicing veterinarian with over 40 years experience, member of american association of feline practitioners (aafp) since 2005; graduated cook college/rutgers university in 1977 in animal science and received my dvm from university of the philippines in 1981; completed internship at animal medical center in nyc; have worked domestically and internationally thru my career and owned small animal practices in fl, and was partner at "feline health" in nyc, the second oldest feline practice in Manhattan. Interestingly, it said in my high school senior class year book "future veterinarian", i did know what i wanted to be when i grew up! I am here to answer your questions and concerns regarding your pets health and well being and offer veterinary advise, recommendations and direction so you can address your pets needs.

Prescription medications are not guaranteed with consults. Over the counter medications can be discussed, however an in-person veterinarian-patient-client-relationship (VPCR) with a veterinarian is gold standard and will always be recommended. Some pharmacies do require an in-person physical exam to establish VPCR. If medications are recommended, the ordering process will be discussed during the appointment.
