About Vet

I have been practicing veterinary medicine since my graduation from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. I began my career as an Equine intern at the LSU Equine aclinic and Large Animal then worked in an equine ambulatory practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for one year. After that I met my husband and moved home to Texas where I practiced at various small animal practices and had my first child until 2012 when we moved to rural northeastern Oregon. I have been at a mixed animal general and emergency practice serving Wallowa County for the past 7 years until our recent move to Umatilla Co. I enjoy practicing top quality, practical medicine focusing on caring for the beloved animals of my neighbors. I have worked on many species but primarily see cats, dogs, and horses, and I am the first to tell you that my knowledge of things with feathers and scales is most limited. I’m much more confident with hooves and paws. I am currently licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington.

How can I help you and your pet?

(I do speak some Spanish, but it’s a bit rusty so give me grace. Hablo español, pero no es perfecto, tan da me gracia.)
