Casey Doughty

I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician based out of California with over six years of industry experience and specific expertise in General Practice and Emergency Medicine. I currently work as a traveling technician to provide Emergency relief services for various hospitals across Northern California.

Working in the ER Department has sparked a special interest in providing Telehealth services in preventative care. I want to keep pets at their healthiest and help pet parents avoid unexpected trips to the emergency room. I'm also a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, so as to stay current on the best recommendations for pain management.

I live in the beautiful California mountains with a 2-year-old Silken Windhound (don't worry if you need to Google that), two senior Border Collies (11 and 14 respectively), and a feisty tortie cat. As an owner with a young active dog, I understand the necessities of preventative health; and as someone that shares a home with two senior pets, I also understand the complexity of senior wellness and quality of life.
