About Vet

I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician with degrees in Equine Science and Veterinary Technology. I have experience in Emergency Medicine and General Practice. I am a FEAR Free certified trainer. I have worked in shelter medicine as well, helping to assist spaying and neutering shelter animals. I have also raised and shown Arabian Horses, Rottweiler dogs and heritage breed rabbits. I dedicate my time to learning all I can about Functional Medicine for animals, which also includes a holistic focus. I'm here to assist you with any questions you may have about your pet, be it general health questions or taking your pet's health to the next level. Concerned about a recent diagnosis? Cancer, autoimmune disease, expensive surgery, etc.. I can help with directing you to a 2nd opinion or research to support your pet. I've been in the front lines with cancer in my own pets. If you are a dog breeder, I can help you raise better well adjusted, socialized, intelligent puppies. A well trained puppy is less likely to be returned to the breeder or turned into a shelter.

I have experience with: Horses, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, cats, goats, pigs, tarantulas, fish,

Kathryn was awesome, and offered the advice I was looking for. Didn't want to take my pup to the vet without first triage-ing the situation, which is exactly what Kathryn helped me with. Thank you!

Katherine is skilled at giving medical advise that integrates the best of holistic and conventional veterinary care. She has led me through the frightening and confusing process of choosing holistic rearing for my new puppy. It is very difficult to find vets who will support raw feeding, minimal vaccinations, tnon-neutering, non-docking, building the immune system naturally and rearing a puppy naturally. I rest don’t know what I would have done without Katherine. She was also available to me one time immediately to advise me on an emergency when my my puppy had ingested something toxic. I didn’t want to rush into a $4000 emergency vet bill unnecessarily, titers to avoid unnecessary pharmaceuticals,
