Dr. Joanna Walsh

Hello friends! I am passionate about veterinary medicine and the client experience. I am located in Franklin, TN and I practice on mostly dogs and cats, but enjoy seeing pocket pet, birds and exotics as well. I graduated from Auburn University with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and went on to receive my DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. I then completed a rotating small animal internship at Blue Pearl in Tampa, Fl. From there I worked at a variety of high-end general practices and I found my passion in dentistry, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine cases. We moved our family to Franklin, TN in 2018 to be closer to our family and have enjoyed our community here! I was a medical director at a general practice and went on to own my first practice. I recently sold my first practice and I am working on my next project.

My goal is to help you better understand your options for care. I can also work with you to help you manage long-term, chronic conditions like allergies, skin issues, medication questions, chronic pain, hospice care, behavior issues, nutrition issues, in addition to helping determine if your pet needs to be seen urgently or not.

My love my pets and want the best for them, and that's what I would love to provide for you as well!
