About Vet

I grew up on a horse farm in Florida where my love of animals started. From an early age I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. I've been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2010 and have traveled all over the US (Alaska, New Hampshire, Florida, Montana). This has allowed me to be exposed to many different conditions as well as practice in multiple different settings. I've gained a lot of knowledge and experience which has allowed me to help so many dogs and cats over the years. I have and still currently do work in general practice as well as emergency hospitals. I live in Montana for the summer and Florida for the winter with 3 dogs (2 labs and a mix) and 1 human and we enjoy our lives to the fullest. We love being outdoors and you can most likely find us hiking, hunting, fly fishing, or shooting bows when we aren't working. I am a fear free certified professional and enjoy helping dogs and cats enjoy their lives to the fullest as well! I am a Certified Pet Therapeutic Nutrition Coach.

****While I'm unable to prescribe medications due to the laws and rules regarding telemedicine with the state boards I hold licenses in (except for Idaho) and states that I don't hold licenses in, I am able to provide professional advice and triage. This means, we can decide together if your pets condition is an emergency and requires immediate assistance, is a condition that can wait for your regular vet to see you or if there are OTC treatments you can try at home first. We discuss possible conditions and their severity, we discuss tests that may need to be done when seen at your regular vet and/or discuss OTC treatments and provide you with dosages and specific directions. I also provide signs and symptoms to monitor your pet for to determine if the condition is worsening and should be seen more immediately. I look forward to assisting you and your furry loved one!
