Even more rewarding is when a patient recovers and is wagging its tail or purring, acting as though nothing happened, despite having gone through a life-saving procedure. These are the moments that are unforgettable."

After completion of her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, Dr. Tina Chou went onto pursue an internship. She completed a rotating internship in Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, and Dermatology at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Referral Centre in Toronto. She still has a passion for all these specialties and often uses her knowledge adopted from them to bring clarity and solution-based approach when counseling her pet parents about the unique care needs of their pet. Dr. Tina Chou also enjoys discussing Palliative Care options with her pet parents and does so in the comfort of their own home!! This allows for a more comprehensive view and understanding of how the pets are in their own personal environment.

Dr. Tina Chou currently works downtown Toronto in various veterinary clinics as well as a busy veterinary house call service!!

The doctor was excellent - professional, clear and friendly. It is our first time using the app, and it looks like the system allows for extremely limited time for questions so vets may feel rushed (why I am entering 4 rather than 5 starts). Overall, excellent doctor.

I am in my sixties and am very weary of learning of new sites like this. My daughter insisted on my trying VETSTER as she had used it during Covid. I did, and Dr. Chou walked through areas that I might have missed on intake process yet she patient and encouraging. Oh and a great sense of humour, as I am chasing my pet around the kitchen with an Apple Camera to try to show the Dr my pets ears. As a professional she was knowledgeable, had a pleasant teaching tone (for those us getting used to hearing aids), and was an amazing first experience with VETSTER. I would recommend this service for anyone as a backup.
