Hello,

My name is Caitlyn, I graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technologist in 2019. I have surrounded myself with animals my entire life, everything from hamsters to bearded dragons to parakeets and so much more. I've worked in general practice with dogs and cats, in exotic animal medicine, including wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, and finally in specialty medicine focusing on emergency care, intensive care, and anesthesia. I am available to discuss habitat management, nutrition, and behavior with you about your exotic housemate. I will always refer to a veterinarian if your animal is in need of medication or a more comprehensive examination.

I am BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certified and have 9 years of experience working in a clinical setting with dogs and cats. I am here to help you with basic first aid questions and to teach basic closed chest CPR to those that are interested or that may live rurally and need this skill in their tool belt. Any true emergencies or animal inquiries that need further investigation will be referred to a Veterinarian, I can support you and your loved one while we locate someone closest to you.

Additionally, I am passionate about animal welfare in a veterinary setting. I am available to discuss questions you may have about your pets care pre/post operatively and if they may have been discharged back home from the hospital for continued therapy. It is always best to contact the clinic that your pet sees for questions regarding a specific protocol that your pet may be following but I can help with medication administration questions, wound care, and home care instruction clarification if your clinic is unreachable.
