Dr. Stan Mikula

Born and raised in South Texas, Dr Mikula has practiced small animal medicine and surgery for 23 years. His focus has been primarily emergency medicine and surgery for the last 20 years. He is well known in Texas for his Veterinary skills, and is sought after by many of the larger emergency hospitals. Working full time relief the last 10 years has allowed him the ability to work at numerous hospitals. This has helped him gain even more knowledge.

Emergencies are Dr Mikula's primary area of interest and expertise. With over 20 years practicing small animal ( dog and cat) emergency medicine and surgery, Dr Mikula has a very extensive and solid foundation when it comes to critical cases. He has connections to most of the large Emergency Hospitals in the State of Texas.

Dr Mikula has a cat named Frito, and a dog named Huckleberry. He has lived in Austin, TX for over 20 years. He has a variety of interests outside of work, including bodybuilding/powerlifting as well as an extensive knowledge and collection of horticultural specimens. Dr Mikula looks forward to assisting clients on Vetster with all of their dog and cat needs!
