About Vet

Hello pet parents!

*** I can only see clients in the states of FLORIDA, NEW YORK & VIRGINIA ****

I’m brand new to the Vetster Platform but have over a decade of experience being a full time in-person veterinarian! So, for a limited time, I’ll be offering a discounted rate to build up my reviews (because honestly, who DOESN’T purchase services in a large part based on reviews?)

A little about me….I’ve been a full time dog/cat/exotic animal veterinarian since 2011 after earning my DVM from the University of Tennessee. I work all over the country at different hospitals as a general practice relief veterinarian and also travel to islands to perform surgeries for the local island animals. I love meeting new people and helping them take care of their beloved pets.

I love puppy/kitten training questions, dermatology, nutrition, and internal medicine questions in addition to everything else your pet may throw at you!

Fun fact - I am ALSO a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, so if you find yourself with an animal you are caring for until you can place it with a rehabilitator, I can guide you though what to do! A huge part of why I’m transitioning to teleconsults is so I can take in more orphaned wildlife and be at home to care for them! Currently at my house are 5 baby squirrels, a baby bird, 2 dogs (one large, one small) 18 chickens and one baby mouse!

When it comes to our own pets, it's nice to have a doctor on call to help guide us with these decisions! So if you need some helpful guidance, please reach out to me!

Before you schedule a consultation with me, please read:

When stating the reason for your appointment, please list as much information as you can to help me better serve you. For example, please describe if you are looking for guidance on a medical issue (what type of medical issue and details of what you are seeing with your pet ) or are you scheduling because you are needing medications or medication refills. If you can upload some pictures of the problem, that would be great too!

*** PLEASE BE ADVISED: With MANY medications, bloodwork and actual physical examinations may be a pre-requisite before prescribing in order to ensure the ultimate safety for your pet - If you are needed a prescription refill or any medication at all, I may not be able to do this unless bloodwork is performed first. This will be on a case by case basis ***

Please also be advised, once we discuss your pet's health, in some circumstances we will recommend you go directly to a veterinarian if we are concerned - although telemedicine is very convenient, it also has it's limitations in terms of being able to physically treat your animal. We are here more as a professional opinion and can provide you with guidance in questionable situations with your pet. We are here to ease your worries, even if it's as simple as letting you know if a problem can wait until the next day when you can see your regular vet or if It's something serious enough that needs a trip to the ER

I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet!
