About Vet

Dr. Eric Bostrom In Michigan and Florida, I am allowed to prescribe medications if needed to help your pet, but unfortunately, the state of Utah does not allow any medicines to be called in for clients during a virtual visit. I am hoping that the situation in Utah changes in the near future. I am glad to discuss a patient and offer advice and help in any way I can during a virtual appointment, especially if there are over the counter remedies that the pet could benefit from.

I graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. I am very experienced with dogs, cats and reptiles. I am currently the Medical Director at Wilsons Veterinary Hospital in Utah and have worked as an associate veterinarian, a relief veterinarian, at humane societies and at emergency clinics. I realize that our pets are really like family members and that pet parents will do anything that they can to provide the best care for their pets. My father is a veterinarian and I have been working with animals my entire life and know very well the special bond that is created with your pets. I currently live in Utah with my wife , 2 kids , 4 dogs,1 cat and 2 snakes, and 2 turtles (yes, a very busy household!) In my free time I love to hike, go birding, fishing and to get to the movies. I look forward to being able to help you and your pets in the near future.
