Dr. Raja has practiced in small animal medicine and surgery for over 10 years. He studied biomedical engineering at Drexel University in Philadelphia before working in the pharmaceutical industry at AstraZeneca. He then attended veterinary school at Virginia Tech graduating in 2012.
He has practiced across the United States in general and emergency practice and performed many successful surgeries. His interests include rehabilitation, internal medicine and dermatology.
He would like to apply the engineering problem solving mindset and years of clinical experience to solve your pets issues. The goal is always to improve their quality of life and sometimes the whole family's quality of life (looking at you pesky itchy/scratchy dermatology cases)!
Dr. Raja lives in Dunedin, New Zealand with his family. In his free time he enjoys the beach, skiing and taking blurry pet and child photos.
