About Vet

Dr. Llanes graduated Cum Laude from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her doctorate degree as a small animal veterinarian after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of Florida. The year she graduated, she became the sole recipient of the Excellence in Small Animal Surgery Award given by the clinicians in Purdue University.

Dr. Llanes has treated numerous cases and performed surgery in both Fort Myers, FL and in a very prestigious hospital in West Palm Beach, FL where she was the Lead Veterinarian prior to relocating. Dr. Llanes has also worked extensively with a reputable animal rescue in south Florida where she led the medical staff in a wide array of cases. As a small animal veterinarian, she has a primary passion for internal medicine and dermatology but is very experienced in all fields of veterinary medicine.

Please note: In Florida, the law prohibits veterinarians from prescribing medications via this platform. However, I am happy to consult with you about your pet’s needs since a strong education and open communication are the foundation to good healthcare. My goal is to make you more knowledgeable and to get you on track to helping your fur baby.
