About Vet

Born in New Jersey, Dr. Nancy Arden grew up in the Chicagoland area, and always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. Her love of animals, including her dogs, tanks of fish, frogs, turtles, and hamsters, plus horses and riding, led her to get a degree in Biology, then her DVM from the University of Illinois, in Champaign-Urbana. She has done a variety of small animal medicine, including overnight emergency, general medical practice, routine and emergency surgery, and some shelter work. She recently became a beekeeper, and loves learning about best bee and hive care. She is married and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, including her teenage son and his ball python, Snek, and their 16 year old black cat, Genie. She can help you with any questions or concerns you have about your pets, and looks forward to meeting with you.
