About Vet

Hello! I live in Northwest Georgia and my passion is veterinary medicine. I am a licensed small animal veterinarian in practice since 1994. I have extensive experience in dog and cat general and emergency medicine. I also have decades of basic experience in exotic medicine (birds, reptiles, pocket pets, amphibians), but am not an exotic specialist.

This telemedicine platform is an excellent tool for answering your basic animal care issues (no need to ask Dr. Google!) Veterinary medicine is currently in crisis. We are experiencing a dire shortage of veterinarians and veterinary support staff, and many clinics are overwhelmed. You may have experienced long wait times at your local emergency room clinic or found that your primary care veterinarian cannot see your pet for several weeks. This platform allows me to help you address your concerns instead of or until you can schedule an appointment with your primary care veterinarian. Additionally, I can help you determine if you need to go ahead to the emergency clinic right now.

I can also work with you to help you manage long-term, chronic conditions like allergies, skin issues, medication questions, chronic pain, hospice care, behavior issues, nutrition issues, and many more.

When you schedule an appointment with me, please take a moment to explain the problem your pet is experiencing and upload any useful photos or videos that you feel will help us during the appointment.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your pet!

SPECIAL NOTE: If you are in Georgia I cannot see you if you are within a 50-mile radius of Rome, Georgia. AND By Law I cannot write a prescription for your pet unless I have examined your pet In Person within 365 days of the telemedicine consult.
