Hello, fellow pet parents! I am mom to 4 stubborn cats, and a little mutt rescue dog named Sebastian. I started my career in emergency medicine. Within that same hospital, I was also a dermatology technician, and was a nurse in the internal medicine department as needed. I have seen just about everything! I transitioned into general practice 6 years ago, and I still see it all! I absolutely love (and feel confident in) emergency medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, and behavior. In the 6 years I've spent in general practice, I have learned a lot about animal behavior. I have taken many continuing education courses in dermatology, and behavior, since transitioning into general practice. I am quite passionate about animal behavior and helping owners when there are behavioral or anxiety issues. I am a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Technician, and in the clinic I utilize those principles. While I can't alleviate your pet's stress in a phone or video consult, I can at least assure you that I will walk you through the best ways to handle your furry kid if I need to get a visual during our consult! In my free time, I enjoy watching movies with Sebastian (as well as F.R.I.E.N.D.S reruns....he loves it 🤷♀️), advocating for all animals (Ricki the bear is my greatest achievement and joy 💗), and tending to my stray cat colony!
