Hola! My name is Katrin Ventocilla Robinson and I am originally from Lima,Peru. I studied Veterinary Medicine there and after performing a small animal surgery internship in Argentina, I decided to move to the United States in order to expand my knowledge. As I worked on accrediting my Veterinary license in the States, I attended Veterinary Technology School and worked as a surgery technician and head tech. I finalized my accreditation process in 2016 and have been working as a vet since then! In 2017 I became a mom and I started working as a relief veterinarian in the northern virginia area. I enjoy helping my patients and clients, serving as a cultural bridge and educating people on preventative medicine, dermatology, dentistry and behavior. Outside of work I enjoy baking, knitting/sewing, outdoor activities, photography and dancing. I live in Alexandria, VA, with my husband (who is a vet too!), our two young daughters Eliza (3 years) and Emma (6 months), Sophie (12 yr old Lab), Frenchie (12 yr old DSH) and Alfie (1yr old troublemaker kitty!).
