About Vet

I graduated from NC State University, which is ranked one of the top 3 veterinary schools in the country. I have been practicing for 19 years and have a great deal of experience in general practice and emergency medicine. I currently treat small animals only in my practice, but have an interest in goats and chickens. I have 3 sweet, rambunctious dogs, and 4 spoiled cats!

I am excited to help provide medical advice with at home treatment options, consultations on preventative health and medicine, blood work interpretation, triage advice on what is an emergency versus what can be managed at home versus what requires next day clinic care. I can help with end of life decisions as well.

NC Law only allows me to prescribe medications to animals I have seen in person.

Very informative and help with my kitty. She gave lots of information about next steps and what I can look for in my cats behavior as signs he might have larger issues going on.

Took her time really explaining what was going on with our pup. Such a saver for me as I was getting over a stomach bug and couldn't got to our normal vet.
