About Vet

I have been practising Veterinary medicine and surgery for a long long time. In that time I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge regarding not just animal welfare, but also the amazing bond between people and their pets. I have smiled, laughed and cried with my clients and understand the ups and downs of long term pet care. Though my personal interests are heavily weighted toward cats, I have a solid understanding of what makes a dog work (and not) as well. Sadly, I do not have skills to represent snakes, farm animals or pocket pets. My job is and has always been to help shepherd my clients through the maze of pet care. Please note that as of this time, I am only able to prescribe medications in Arizona.

We came for a second opinion because we didn't get the comfort feeling like we had a resolve. Doctor grant was able to provide that for us. He was very knowledgeable and I felt like I could trust the advice he gave us.Definitely.I'm going to come back for any other questions.

Dr Grant is very knowledgeable in all things having to do with the treatment for your furry friend! He is patient, warm and very funny! My sweet little PomChi has a FLEA problem and I am about at my wits end trying to deal with it in a holistic manner (ie vaccuuming, essential oils, diatomaceous earth and prayer)…so I made the executive decision to call in a professional. I am so happy that I did and I am SO Grateful that I found Dr. Grant. He prescribed a combination of both “Western” and natural medicine that made me feel very safe and comfortable. I have a good feeling that this will work! Thank you Dr. Grant- you are very much appreciated Sir.

The vet Dr. Jonathon Grant was easy to talk to, seemed knowledgable. He gave advise on what i needed to do and said he would call an rx in for antibiotics. Everything up until this point was 5 star. The next day, i waited for word that the rx was called in. I logged in and found out that some states (im in washington) wont allow prescriptions to be filled through televet type of services and must be seen in person. That was dissapointing news as it meant i had wasted the time waiting for this and also the money i spent for nothing. I live a couple hours from oregon, so i had it called into a pharmacy there instead. They were able to handle this all very timely and i appreciated that. I was going to give 4 stars but decided to give five as this option for vet care is an amazing option...however for those in states that dont allow the rx to be filled by televet this isnt a good option and it would be nice if it was mentioned upfront to avoid the let down.

Dr. Grant was the best! He provided more education in one call than my previous vet did in 4 years of visits. Engaged and kind, also referred us to his previous practice Scaredy Cats in Scottsdale. They couldn't have been nicer. The vet there was just as helpful and thorough as Dr. Grant was. It's clear that Dr. Grant wants the very best for his patients. Even though he couldn't physically do an exam on my pet we felt really taken charge of. Thank you Dr. Grant!

I gave a history of a puppy that passed away information to the vet, but he didn’t have a clue what BOAS was that’s a genetic defect and this genetic defect causes respiratory problems and puppies and dogs, and makes them more susceptible to dine from stressful situation. Bronchycephalic dogs have different issues than normal dogs because they have reading problems and this can cause them to die and why they’re not allowed on planes in cargo because in distressful situations they can die within a very short period of time the vet didn’t seem to know about this issue or about these types of dogs, so it was very disappointing to me and he didn’t give me the support that I needed and documentation nor did he sign it. This platform doesn’t seem to provide professional and adequate services.

Informative and caring. Even over an app, it felt like I was getting a correct diagnosis, which you don't even always get in person. Very much appreciated, and will absolutely recommend/come back.
