About Vet

Hi! I'm a graduate of LSU veterinary school (Geaux Tigers) and love helping animals and their humans! Since graduating in 2007, I've practiced in small animal clinics in Louisiana, Texas and Washington; I've practiced at an emergency hospital in Texas and have been a veterinary consultant for several pharmaceutical companies. I also have my Fear Free Certification which helps with creating a calm environment and reducing stress for your pets. As a boxer lover, I've been fortunate to work with one of the largest boxer rescue groups in the nation. I look forward to meeting you and your babies soon.

Dr. Ramirez is AMAZING! She was so knowledgeable about our cat's unique situation (a history of urinary blockages and PU surgery) and was receptive to my sharing his medical history. She listened to my concerns, gave excellent feedback and suggestions, and even praised what we're already doing for our little guy. I'd absolutely see her again!

I was concerned about a skin infection and Dr. Ramirez was able to identify and confirm the issue right away. We went over a treatment plan that will get my little guy fixed right up. She took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. Dr. Ramirez was very knowledgeable and kind. I will definitely be using her services again for any unforseen needs.
