About Vet

Well, hello! I'm Jake, a small animal veterinarian in Colorado. Though I mostly treat dogs and cats these days, I have a background in livestock medicine and occasionally work with wildlife and exotic pets. A graduate of Colorado State University in 2019, I've been working in general practice practice and emergency hospitals since that time. My passions within veterinary medicine include giving clients time to discuss their goals & questions, managing pain in animals, and discussing quality of life as well as end-of-life care. I love that I get to learn from every person and animal I meet, and I’m appreciative for every opportunity to work with someone new!

I’ve been fortunate enough to practice medicine in multiple countries, and I understand we all have different goals for our healthcare. I’m not here to make judgements, just to try to understand your goals and help however I can. You’re the expert of your animals, and I know a wide range of medical options.

Whether you have an immediate concern regarding your pet, want to discuss their ongoing case or medications, are interested in better understanding their behavior, or you just want to chat about how to generally give them the best life possible, I look forward to meeting you and them remotely!
