About Vet

Born on a tobacco farm in South Carolina and grew up with dogs, pigs, cows and farm life. Ended up in vet school after working in an animal shelter and seeing the harm that poor ownership could do to the life of thousands of pets. Graduated from University of Georgia and ended up with 9 adopted kids. Now all gone and grandkids everywhere and home to12 horses and 8 dogs and a couple of cats. Still trying to take care of my lovely wife's horses and other assorted critters. Nothing loves you quite like a dog, and no one takes more messages and promises to get back to you more than a cat. “At this time due to SC law, I can only give you sound veterinary advice and I cannot give you a prescription. I can only recommend over the counter products until the state law is changed.”

Dr. Hardee was very patient, attentive, and professional. He was a blessing for us considering it was the right after New Years and most places were closed. He helped our 11.5 year old dog when we weren’t exactly sure what was happening. He is by far the best vet we have ever had. Thank you Dr. Hardee and Vetster for making Televisits possible!

I was skeptical about a virtual vet apt, but had limited options due to it being a weekend and a holiday and not having a full on emergency, just a vomiting dog. Dr hardee was SO kind and patient with me and all my questions and concerns. He explained everything that was going on and what medications he was sending to the pharmacy and what they were going to do to help. He had the prescriptions called in immediately, and also answered all of my follow up concerns hours later. I only wish he lived closer to me so I could make him my full time regular vet for my dog! Highly recommend!!
