About Vet

++If you are confident you are just needing a prescription, that is not possible because of prescription laws. This is for the vast majority of telehealth veterinarians. Please save your money and don't schedule. Otherwise I am more than happy to consult and discuss options which do not always require a prescription, which can include many over the counter or at home remedies.++

I look forward to helping you and your companion by navigating a concern with education and guidance. Many times concerns and situations pop up at inconvenient hours, whether they are new, worsening changes to an ongoing situation, or even the random thought that will be forgotten. I am frequently available to help you address these events in the evenings and weekends. If there is not a convenient time for you, please feel free to message me through Vetster and I will try to make sure I can find a time that works!

I will always set reasonable prices as financial challenges are always present and a large barrier with pet ownership. My prices include coverage of Vetster's platform and booking fees as well as my time. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have a high level of experience with:

• Triaging possible emergency/urgent cases.

• Post surgical concerns, include soft tissue, dentistry, and orthopedics.

• Second opinions on a multitude of problems, including results consultation and education.

• Dog & cat behavioral challenges.

• End of life or hospice strategies.

• New or chronic skin &/or ear conditions.

• New or chronic eye conditions.

• Management of orthopedic, hyperthyroid, chronic kidney disease, and other conditions.

• Eating or nutrition changes or concerns, including weight loss or gains.

• General care and preventative care, including flea/tick/pest challenges or usage.

• Specialized in Animal Welfare and Sheltering conditions and possibilities, which include similar challenges seen with animal daycares. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As a 2015 Kansas State University graduate I have spent nearly a decade in small animal medicine, with a focus on animal welfare. Working in an animal shelter environment and non-profit world has honed my skills to utilize practices that are across the entire resource spectrum. In the many years of animal welfare experience I have seen everything commonly seen in your usual general practice and more, as stray and unwanted animals lack the basic care we are so used to providing. This has allowed me to be creative with education, identification of conditions, and ways to move forward. I look forward to seeing how I can assist you and your family companion with an emphasis on relieving the stress of a presenting concern.
