About Vet

Hi Pet Parents, It is a pleasure to be on Vetster helping you and your pet. I'm Dr. Balderrama, but many of my clients call me Dr. Dave or Dr. B for short.

My goal is to help you and your pet as much as I can with veterinary telemedicine. Depending on the state and its laws, we may be able to find a diagnosis or get a prescription for you. But your pet will get the most information I can give you.

As for me, I have been a veterinarian for over 19 years and have treated all types, from dogs and cats, birds and small mammals, and amphibians and reptiles (my personal favorites!).

Very helpful wanting to see breathing, movement, blood flow and asked several questions on habits and behaviors. Gave a great breakdown of what possibilities could be seen at this point and a way forward on how to action remedy and comforts. Dr. Balderrama was very clear and helpful. He explained things well and gave us plenty of time to ask questions and made sure that we were comfortable with the next steps for care of our dog. It was a big relief to be able to meet with a vet virtually when all of the emergency rooms were to full.
