Dr. Danielle Schafer

Dr. Schafer grew up in Long Island NY and received a bachelor's in animal science with focus of veterinary medicine. She completed her pre-clinical schooling in the beautiful islands of St. Kitts & Nevis at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In 2019 she went to a Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine to finish her clinical year. In her free time, she enjoys her hobby farm that consists of chickens, goats, horses, a donkey named Dominic and dogs. Fun fact, her cat saved her life in 2019 from an apartment fire & appeared on multiple TV shows.

Currently practicing in upstate NY. She doctors mixed animal with mainly dogs and cats but can see backyard production birds ie chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks/hens, turkeys etc. and small rodents and small ruminants.
