About Vet

Hello, animal lovers, pet owners and my new friends & clients! I have recently retired from an active Companion Animal Practice (dogs & cats). After 3.5 years of associate doctor, I established and owned Animal Care Hospital from 1987 to 2020 in NE Ohio.
I had particular interests in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine (cardiology, hormonal disorders), dentistry and behavioral medicine. Since it was a general veterinary practice, I had ample opportunities in multiple areas of veterinary medicine. So one can say I am relatively well versed in general care and treatment/management of companion animal diseases. I am rather keen on making accurate diagnosis and therefore, I believe I can play an essential role in solving the mysteries of our animal friends' ailments. That will help my future friends/clients by guiding them with the best possible diagnoses to minimize stress on pet owners and pets alike.
As a telehealth veterinary medical consultant, I will value and uphold the principles and ethics of my life long profession and pay my utmost personal attention to the suffering animals and their concerned guardians and caretakers, whom I call pet parents.

Dr. Sung was very helpful asked many questions about my dog. I did the best I could explaining what was happening and dr. Sung was basically able to finish my sentence. He knew exactly what I was talking about, and was very good at explaining what steps I need to take. Would 100% use him again!
