About Vet

Hello! I am so excited to be a part of Vetster! I am also very excited that CA has just passed a law that allows veterinarians to give medical advice over telemedicine as well as prescribe medications. I started my veterinary career in urgent care veterinary medicine. Currently I was at a small animal general practice. My favorite part about being a veterinarian is the interaction with both animals and there pet parents. I thoroughly love my job, and I couldn't have wished for a better career path.

I grew up in San Jose, CA. I received my Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from San Jose State University. I received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. I have worked in ER/urgent care/General Practice/Hospice, Palliative Care, Hospice, Pain management; Nutrition; Internal Medicine, and Beyond. I am very interested in complex nutritional cases. I believe much chronic disease could be avoided or at least greatly diminished if pet are fed ancestrally appropriate diet. I am a life long learner and get excited about the fact that we know so very little about science and what is the optimal strategy in treating the host of problems with which our pets present. I'd love to be a part of your pet's journey and hopefully help you come to a better understanding of the innerworkings of said journey.

I have many passions both within and outside of veterinary medicine. My most recent passion within medicine is Nutrition, Internal Medicine, and Metabolic Syndrome.

I also have many interests outside of medicine, from quantum physics to literature/creative writing, the outdoors, philosophy, and much more.

I absolutely love educating. And I love to be educated as well. I see this platform as a mutual exchange of information, the ultimate goal of which is to greatly improve the quality of life of your fur-baby.

Doctor Chad was amazing. He’s full of knowledge and gave us a solid plan to our puppy’s recovery. We are so grateful! We did not have to go into an emergency room because of him. If we lived closer he would be our pets’ veterinarian. Thank you Dr. Chad!

Ear infection and skin allergies. The vet addressed both with solutions, but also took the time to educate me on how to make sure I’m contributing correctly for my pup to live a healthy life. Very thankful.

This was my first experience using Vetster, and I'm very happy I found Vetster and, Dr Easthouse. He was extremely thorough in collecting my dog's history and spent a lot of time going over her symptoms and medical conditions. And, all this took place at 12:30 a.m. I was able to get a prescription faxed into my local 24-hour pharmacy, and avoided a costly trip to a 24-hour vet clinic. Thank you Dr. Easthouse and Vetster! ♥️
