About Vet

I have been in veterinary medicine for over 13 years. When I am not on the hospital floor seeing patients in person, I am online with Vetster or spending time with friends and family. I studied veterinary medicine at St. Matthew's University and then went to the University of Georgia for my clinical training. I pride myself on keeping up to date on the most current medical practices in veterinary medicine to provide the best quality care possible for animals. I have extensive experience in infectious disease, internal medicine, emergency medicine, critical care, soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, dentistry, nutrition, managing chronic disease, food safety, neurology, oncology, public health, new pet parent coaching, pharmacology, end-of-life care, etc. While continuing to practice medicine, I am finishing a public health master’s in Food Safety from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine to eventually help improve both the human and pet food industry (I am not a nutritionist). In my free time, you will find me traveling, hiking, volunteering, or fishing on a body of water with my dog Pogue. I look forward to meeting you and helping your pets in any way I can.
