About Vet

I am a doctor who loves the people who love their animals, and the animals who love their people!

I have a passion for communication. One of the greatest joys of being a doctor is being able to help people understand their animal's behavior, actions, health and any possible illness or disease that is hindering them. My goal here on Vetster is to work with owners as a team and provide direction that can benefit their pets.

As an equine veterinarian, my focus has been optimizing the health, performance and soundness of equine athletes. As a competitor myself, I know the enjoyment of the partnership between a rider and their horse, and I know the thrill of victory both in and out of the arena. A large portion of my practice is devoted to veterinary acupuncture, which has helped me to bridge the gap between traditional veterinary practice and a deeper level of nervous system and musculoskeletal functioning.

As a person who grew up with a household full of dogs, and with a need to always have one by my side, I have a deeply rooted love for our canine companions. Therefore, I have also devoted a significant amount of time to learning how I can help owners to keep their furry best friends feeling healthy and happy!

Prior to veterinary school, I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Communication and a second Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Communication.

Within my endeavors, I have learned that faith, mindset and health are the keys to unlocking a vibrant life. For this reason, it is my mission to help others find what it means to live extraordinarily in the ordinary. With a sense of gratitude for life, I feel that we can find adventure, develop self value, gain strength and create a deeper belief in ourselves.
