Born in France and raised in equatorial Africa and Canada, I initially wanted to be a wild life preserve veterinarian but soon fell in love with surgery. Low and behold, neurology and neurosurgery picked me. After my internship in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and residency in Davis, California, I went on to practice in both academia and private practice. I have spoken internationally on veterinary medicine, owned my own clinic in Sarasota, Florida, been blessed to receive seven business awards and countless recognitions in my field. I enjoy everything about neurology and my greatest goal is to keep families together by being clear and honest about the issues at hand. it is of the utmost importance to me that my clients feel comfortable about with the information provided and their decisions. When it comes to my personal life, my two boys are grown and in college for one, the army for the other. I live with my two dogs, Mirabelle and Rowan. I discovered horses in my early fifties and spend much of my free time with them now. Luminaria is my soulmate and Louis, her son, is my partner in crime.
