Hi! My name is Dr. Stephani McLean. I am a veterinarian from Southern Manitoba and have been practise for the last 10 years.

I am a member of the Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association and a Fear Free Certified Proffesional. Outside of veterinary medicine, I am active on our family farm, love camping with friends, following my kids to various extracurriculars and volunteering in our community. I love the connections built in a rural community and advocate for sustainable farming practises and responsible animal ownership.

Our fur family includes; Coonhound (Georgia), Abyssinian cat (Ira), various barn cats (Max, Freckles, Lightning, Peaches, Viper, Visit, Jackie and Momma cat), Quarter Horses (Doc Holliday), Miniature Horse (Summer), Miniature Donkey (Stanley) and all the ladies (chickens of assorted varieties).

My motto is helping your pets live their best life. This is why I focus on prevention, the mental health of pets and really looking beyond to surface to find the cause of the ailment. I can't wait to meet your pets and help them along their journey to health and happiness.

Dr. Stephani was very helpful in giving me steps to take with my cat until I am able to see the vet. Very friendly! Would recommend and will be returning for more information if needed.

Dr. McLean was incredibly friendly and so helpful. She took the time to ask about my cats history and habits, and explore all of the reasons that may be causing her excessive grooming. She brought up many things that I never would have thought about, and was very engaging and an amazing listener. You can really see how passionate Dr. McLean is about animals, and building good pet relationships. She focused a lot on the background and habits of my cat and the day to day routine to try to get to the root of the issue. She also gave me an action plan of things I can realistically work on and a clear timeline on how to move forward. I will definitely be coming back to her for all of my pet’s needs. Thank you so much Dr. McLean!
