I was born, raised and schooled in the cold Canadian prairies. I have several years of post secondary education and graduated with my veterinarian degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1997. I have practiced veterinary medicine at several different hospitals on Vancouver Island as a locum and associate veterinarian. 4 years ago I opened my own vet hospital and am now the co-owner of Harbour City Animal Hospital in Nanaimo, BC.
In addition to being a veterinarian, I share my home with a lovely Golden Retriever named Zephyr, Romeo , the cat who believes the world revolves around his desires, 2 boys and my husband.
