Hello! I’m a small animal veterinarian practicing in the beautiful town of Guelph,ON

I love all aspects of small animal medicine but my professional areas of focus are acute and chronic pain management, internal medicine,and emergency and critical care. I hold my cVMA (certificate in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture) as well as my CVPP (Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner). I also have a soft spot for short nosed dogs (such as english/french/american bulldogs, pugs, and boxers) and focus on educating owners on how best to allow them to live a long, safe and comfortable life. I also love treating reptiles & small mammals.

I live in Guelph with my husband and our two boys, and our small menagerie of pets. Currently that includes two English bulldogs ( Hank Dinosaur Jr and Sunny Skywalker) , two kitties (Gordie and Ernesto de la Peanut), an Axolotl named Axyl Rose and finally, our Albino California King Snake, Popcorn.

Dr Fleming was excellent! Helped us with our pet issue and also very understanding of the rural context and how hard it is for us to access in person care or medications quickly due to a lack of veterinary services in our area. What a great service!

We can’t get a vet since moving to Northern Ontario and I was looking for a prescription to help my anxious dog deal with the long trips back and forth from Southern Ontario. Dr.Fleming was kind and very helpful! The pharmacy we use decided they didn’t receive her call in prescription and her and the team were quick to fix the issue. Couldn’t recommend her more

In the Ottawa area we have one vet within two hours who will take a look at axolotls, and even that one place doesn't really have updated information on how to care for them. Dr. Renee was able to look at my situation, my axolotls and help me determine why one of them is having slime coat and gill issues and wasn't eating as well as help me make a plan to get my axolotls health back on track, all on incredibly short notice. She was kind, compassionate and thought of the future and asked all the relevant questions about my aquarium set up that I would expect a vet with experience to ask to ensure my axolotls stay healthy! 10/10
