Dr. Michelle Chen, who speaks Mandarin Chinese, grew up in the small harbour town of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. She obtained an honours degree in Bachelors of Science at the University of British Columbia prior to pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in sunny Australia. She received her veterinary qualifications from the University of Melbourne with distinction and returned to Vancouver, BC in 2019 to provide the best possible care for companion animals.
