A second-generation veterinarian, you could say that veterinary medicine is in Dr. Matt’s blood. Matt spent the better part of his childhood as that little kid who always asked the veterinary staff too many questions. It turns out that kid learned some things along the way and went on to become a veterinarian (graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph with Honours in 2008) whose passion evolved into teaching and sharing knowledge around the science of pet health and ensuring your pet gets the best possible care.

Throughout his years in private practice and working at a pet health nutrition company Matt has seen first-hand the impact that proper, individualized care and nutrition can have on pets.

Dr. Matt loves to impart his knowledge and help you and your furry companion in a fun and engaging way, using practical tips that can make a true difference and help your beloved four-legged family members live their best lives.

Dr. Matt is very knowledgeable and thorough. During the appointment he addressed all our concerns, paid a lot of attention to the issues our cat had and provided with a detailed plan of what to do next. I wish we were in the same town to be able to become Dr. Matt’s regular patients.

Dr. Matt was so friendly and personable that even just a few minutes into meeting him for the first time, we felt like we'd known him for years! He was also very knowledgeable in his assessment and recommendations for our puppy. Having someone guide us through obtainable steps to resolve her issues was excellent.
